Hello neighbors and friends.  Today's blog is a little different than what I've been posting. II have gone through a lot in my life. But today, I'm sharing about something I have personally gone through recently.  My sister-in-law and my best friend was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I also have a niece that found out this week that she has a mass behind her right eye, and is having to go out of state to have her surgery.  I love them both dearly. When things like this happen to people we love it's heart breaking.  It definitely causes you to think about your own life what you have done with it and about what time you have left.  It has led me to deep self introspection. We go through life knowing that these things happen to people and we are sorry that they have to go through such emotional stress and heartache.  We say a prayer for them and then we go back to our lives as usual.  I've been thinking that I can do more than that.  I want to leave a legacy of helping and giving to others.  To show my children and grandchildren that you can be more and do more, and that it's never too late to start.  I am working on some things I want to do differently in my business and in my life.  Please keep checking back to see what those things are and how you can be a part of it, should you desire.  I have finally found my voice and I intend to use it.

When I was a child my dad was a pastor, and he was very concerned about what people thought of him and of his family.  Are you like that?  Do you know someone like that? The fear of rejection, of what people might think about what I do, and failure has kept me from finding my voice long enough.  I'm over it, I'm going to do what I feel led to do without worrying about what people may think.  Things that have happened to me throughout my life have brought me to this point. I've found my voice and I'm ready to use it!

How about you?  What legacy will you leave?  We have no promise of tomorrow, so lets do something today.  Find your voice!

The picture up top is a clue to one of the things I will be doing in the new year.  Can you guess what it is?
